An update on Mykhailo Mudryk and Arsenal has now emerged following claims about the Chelsea No.10 earlier this week.
It was Sportslens who provided the information.
So, what is the latest on Arsenal and Mykhailo Mudryk? Let’s take a look…
Mykhailo Mudryk no longer infatuated in Arsenal
Well – according to The Athletic – the Ukraine international was devastated after failing to complete a move to Arsenal in January 2023.
The Gunners eventually gave up on trying to sign Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk after Chelsea offered a substantial £88.5m fee.
Now, however – according to Sportslens – the Ukrainian is no longer obsessed with Arsenal.
It is said that Mudryk is only focusing on Chelsea nowadays and wants to make a success of his £88.5m move to Stamford Bridge.

The man from Krasnohrad has scored just five goals in 44 appearances for Chelsea – while also providing five assists.
For the sake of a comparison, Mudryk also made 44 appearances at Shakhtar Donetsk, but contrastingly scored 12 goals and assisted 17 more.
Arsenal did well to respond after Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea
Mikel Arteta and Edu seemingly spent the entirety of January 2023 trying to sign Mudryk – it was one of the most followed transfer sagas in history.
Therefore, it must have been a shock when Chelsea eventually blew Arsenal out of the water with an £88.5m bid for the 23-year-old, who Ian Wright has been disappointed with.
Nevertheless, Arteta and Edu reacted superbly by turning to Leandro Trossard – the Belgian was signed in a £27m deal from Brighton.

The Arsenal No.19 has since scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in 53 appearances for the Gunners, delivering quality performances in a number of positions having arrived for a fraction of the Mudryk fee.
Trossard may have been the backup option, although he has undoubtedly shone in north London.
